Please join us on May 3, 2014, where incredible people like you will gather together at a fabulous event to show love, support, and commitment to those affected by this terrible disease as well as to honor the courage and strength of those fighting to eradicate ALS.
This event features an evening full of dining and entertainment and live and silent auctions showcasing hundreds of items from local and national businesses.
Guests will enjoy an exciting evening of Derby themed games, and an excellent dinner. You can take great pride in knowing that your support of MDA’s “A Night at the Races” event will help to make a difference.
All funds raised from this event are solely ear-marked for ALS Research.
ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease strikes adults in the prime of life. It has puzzled physicians since it was first described in medical journals. Although progress is being made daily, to date a cure has not been found. Your contributions will help MDApursue this mission.
MDA has been at the forefront of research and the nation’s leader in the fight against ALS, offering hope and help to the thousands who are affected by this disease. MDA allocates 250 million dollars to ALS services and has 43 ALS/MDA Research Centers. Funds raised at “A Night at the Races” directly benefit ALS research that may be conducted locally at The University of Rochester Medical Center at Strong Memorial Hospital, as well as around the world.
This event allows for the opportunity to assist our local research team and others. Help eradicate Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis by sponsoring crucial research minutes. Watch for the Race for Research Auction items to be added often to this site.
